Initially I gave a 2 star review bc the 3 blade razor in the starter kit seemed to just skim over my face and not cut my beard.
Kyle from Patriot read my review and reached out to me wanting a satisfied customer and offered some possible solutions which I have tried and been very satisfied with. The product is top notch as is the customer service. Really glad I found these guys on Gab.

The 1776 handle is a 3 ***. I like the prior version much better. As far as the new blade, the trimmer on the new 5 blade is an improvement. I would still like one that exposes a bit more blade if possible. Also, I have a heavy beard and the 4 blade with a better trimmer is what I am looking for!

Works well

I just got the 1776 starter kit and used it for the first time this last weekend. I have to say that the handle is comfortable, and the blades work very well - razors seem sharp and the flex of the razor heads is just right.

Good

Was looking for and alternative to dollar shave club as their blade don't cut anymore. The1776 blade cut great, but are hard to clean out this is the only downside so far. the handle is comfortable as well. The cost is a bit higher then I would like but that just seems to be the way of things these days

They are great for the money. The one drawback is that washing out the razor from the back to get the hair stuck between the blades is difficult. Remove the blue **** on the front and it will allow you to make the blade strong and open up the back to easier clean the blades.
